Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Fleur Vrakking (26). I live with my friend Bob in The Netherlands. I graduated from the Hotel school and I work as a manager in a beach pavilion. I love to work on the beach. But I missed something where I could use my creativity.
I started Fleur Foodie in October 2020.
Fleur Foodie originated in the corona time, where I discovered the passion for food photography. For my work (in the hospitality industry) I took a number of photos of dishes, this suited me so much that I really immersed myself in it. Because I thought it was extremely fun to do and I had plenty of time anyway. I am also quite a perfectionist and if I want to do something, I want to do it perfect. So I bought a camera and completely immersed myself in the world of food photography. I was completely sold. I have read books, read various blogs and watched many Youtube tutorials. In addition, I practiced as much as possible with my camera, by taking a lot of pictures. I also try to try as many new things as possible in the photography field and develop myself in this way.
I've discovered that food photography is a lot of fun and that anyone can do it with some easy tips. I noticed that there are few that focus on food photography. That's why I started collecting all the tips and information I found on my Instagram account. My Instagram account grew so fast that I decided to start this website. I try to explain in an easy way on my website how you can take beautiful photos of dishes. So that I can help you take your photos to a higher level.
